Uptown Market

This large multi-phase, mixed-use development is one of several projects that will ultimately result in the creation of Markham’s new Downtown – Markham Centre. For ten years, Schollen & Company Inc. have been involved in the master planning, urban design, landscape planning and landscape architecture for each phase of this unique project.

Uptown Markham is a high-density, mixed-use development that, in combination with other projects within Markham Centre, will be a first insofar as it will result in an urban centre which respects and frames the Rouge River, creating a unique interplay between the human and natural landscapes. Every phase of this project is LEED Gold certified and employs the latest stormwater reuse and green roof technologies.
